As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets Developer with 5 to 12 years of experience specializing in DAM migration, you will lead the end-to-end migration of digital assets from legacy systems to AEM Assets. You will develop a structured framework for asset ingestion, content hierarchy, taxonomy, permissions, and workflows. A key responsibility includes analyzing the current Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including asset types, metadata, and folder structures, to design and execute a detailed migration plan with defined timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as IT, content creators, and project managers, you will ensure a seamless migration process. You will configure and optimize AEM instances for asset ingestion, metadata application, and rendition generation while leveraging tools like ACS AEM Commons and ACS AEM Tools. Your role will involve performing ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) processes for efficient asset migration, conducting post-migration validation, and ensuring all assets are accurately migrated and accessible.
Additionally, you will maintain and update metadata schemas and taxonomy for robust search capabilities, troubleshoot migration issues, and provide training and support to end-users on the new AEM Assets system. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition to AEM for digital asset management.
