We are looking for an experienced Anaplan ETL Engineer with 10–15 years of expertise in data integration and business planning systems, responsible for managing end-to-end data workflows in support of enterprise-wide Anaplan implementations. The role involves understanding all requirements associated with new EPICs or initiatives, collaborating with Product Managers, Owners, and Senior Developers to gather and document functional and technical specifications. The engineer will lead requirement sessions, develop user stories based on high-level needs, and ensure all tickets meet the Definition of Ready before sprint planning. Responsibilities include maintaining a healthy backlog (2 sprints ahead), documenting dependencies, and facilitating coordination across teams and third-party vendors to meet project timelines.
The Anaplan ETL Engineer plays a critical role in data transformation and automation, ensuring accurate, efficient integration between Anaplan and source systems. This includes reviewing EPICs during pre-planning, supporting QA and engineering teams with detailed analysis for effort estimation, and troubleshooting post go-live issues. The role demands a strong focus on process improvement, contributing to the PI roadmap, and promoting a culture of experimentation and collaboration. The engineer is also expected to manage third-party maintenance schedules and ensure up-to-date documentation for all integrations and stakeholder requirements.
