The role involves performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of web and database applications, including database testing with SQL to validate backend functionality and data integrity.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve defects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with Agile processes, tracking and managing defects, and documenting detailed test cases and results. Proficiency in manual testing and SQL, along with experience in test management tools like Jira or TestRail, is essential.
Preferred skills include knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured, and exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
