Data Migration Tool Development:
- Design, develop, and implement tools for secure data migration.
- Ensure speed, security, and data integrity during migration.
- Maintain visibility and control over data, ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
NAS System Architecture:
- In-depth knowledge of NAS systems (NetApp, Dell EMC) and protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI).
- Optimize performance for diverse workloads (media streaming, backup solutions).
- Develop code for data migration tools and ensure system scalability.
Storage Technologies & Cloud Integration:
- Expertise in SAN, DAS, RAID configurations, and storage virtualization (vSAN, Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Volumes) and hybrid cloud models.
- Use of migration tools (Robocopy, Rsync) and implementation of network optimizations.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement data protection mechanisms: encryption, access control, secure authentication.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
Performance Optimization & Project Management:
- Enhance NAS performance and ensure minimal network impact.
- Lead project design and mentor junior engineers.
Work Environment:
- Experience in enterprise environments with high availability and disaster recovery setups.
- Collaborate with IT leadership for strategic infrastructure decisions.
